We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, business name, business type, and location. When you use Permit Finder, we collect your responses to generate a personalized permit checklist.

If you opt in to SMS reminders, we collect your mobile phone number and your explicit consent to receive text messages. We record the date and time of your consent.

We also collect usage data through cookies and analytics tools, including pages visited, features used, and device information. This helps us improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide permit discovery and tracking services

• Send renewal reminders via SMS text message (only with your explicit opt-in consent)

3. Information Sharing

• Your advisor: If you signed up through an advisor's referral link, they can view your permit data

4. SMS Text Messages

If you subscribe to Renewal Tracking and opt in to SMS reminders, the following applies:

• Consent: You must provide explicit opt-in consent before we send any SMS messages. Consent is collected through an in-app checkbox with clear disclosure language. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Message content: We send automated permit renewal reminder messages at 60, 30, and 7 days before your permit expiration dates.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on the number of permits you track and their expiration dates. You may receive up to 3 messages per permit per renewal cycle.
• Costs: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by unchecking the SMS consent box in your account settings. We will confirm your opt-out with a single final message.
• Help: Reply HELP to any message for support information, or contact support@permitdashboard.com.
• Carriers: Compatible with major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others.
• Phone number use: Your phone number is used solely for sending permit renewal reminders. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Telnyx) for the purpose of delivering messages.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted in SOC 2 compliant data centers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for product improvement purposes.
